The ShareIn team has grown quickly over the last couple of years. It’s our amazing people that make the magic happen. In our meet the team section we aim to tell you a little more about the people behind the scenes. This week we talked to Antonio Robles.
Who are you?
Hi, I’m Antonio. I moved to Edinburgh from Spain nearly 4 years ago to start my career as a software developer and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I’ve been with ShareIn for the past 2 years.
What do you do at ShareIn?
I’m the senior Frontend Developer and I’ve been improving our product by designing a foundation for our clients‘ websites, helping to deliver our projects much faster using the latest Frontend tools.
What is unique about ShareIn’s technology?
ShareIn is a place where you have the chance as a developer to introduce new frameworks and tools, which is a rare thing in this industry. For example, we have been using ASP.NET for building our white label platforms, but recently we decided to introduce Vue.js into our workflow.
What’s something you would like to tell people about ShareIn that perhaps they don’t know?
At the end of last year we released a new investor portfolio area for our platforms. This was a huge change as we not only improved the look of the portfolio, but we also worked on the user experience, making the investment workflow easier and clearer.
Tell us an interesting fact about you?
When I was in uni one of my passions was writing, and I combined this with my love of music when I co-founded a cultural web magazine, Red Kitchen Magazine. This project gave me the opportunity to interview my favourite bands and the chance to meet a lot of interesting people.
Here in Edinburgh I’ve continued to express myself with music by playing bass guitar in a band I co-founded called The Nowes.
